The Power Dry Story
Trusted Restorer didn’t begin as a theory about how restoration companies should operate. It grew out of the real-world experience of building Power Dry and navigating many of the same challenges independent restoration owners face every day.
As Power Dry grew, other restorers began asking questions about hiring, leadership, estimating, business development, profitability, operations, and building a company that could function without the owner carrying everything themselves.
Those conversations eventually became something bigger.
Trusted Restorer was created to give independent restoration companies access to the systems, coaching, training, resources, and peer network that can be difficult to build alone — without giving up their name, brand, or independence to a franchise.
1988
Quality Services Unlimited was established in 1988. Founders Greg Petropoulos & Ed Bledsoe were a 2-man team offering carpet cleaning, air duct cleaning, and restoration services. The business would continue growing, rebranding as Power Clean before officially changing to Power Dry in 1998.
2002
Greg partnered with Cliff Cole to create More Floods. Greg & Cliff decided to share their experience with other companies in the country to help grow their businesses. The next four years would be spent developing the content, training outline, territories, and business model.
2006
Power Dry & More Floods moved to their first shared location, facilitating easy knowledge sharing. The two companies would continue operating in tandem, moving to a larger shared location in 2023, which has become a featured highlight of TR’s training classes.
2024
Power Dry became a full-service restoration company, expanding its services to include mold, asbestos, and reconstruction while also growing its management team.
TODAY
More Floods has officially rebranded as Trusted Restorer, maintaining our coaching, training, resources, events, and peer collaboration for independent restoration companies.
Power Dry has expanded into Iowa and Ohio and continues growing in each region.
